BUSH POSTCARDS
WINNEBAGO TEAMS UP WITH
SUNRISE AND MONTE DWYER
Winnebago is renewing the
partnership with the high rating Channel 7 morning show,
Sunrise with Mel and Kochie.
Following on from the highly
successful “Weather Winnie” promo on Sunrise last year, the
Winnebago Sunrise motorhome will soon be on the road again,
reporting live back to “Brekky Central” to a huge national
audience each week.
In a segment entitled “Bush
Postcards” Monte Dwyer is driving a Winnebago Birdsville in
search of fascinating human interest stories all around
Australia and will be reporting live from the Motorhome.
Sponsored by Winnebago, Fiat
and Telstra, the Winnebago Birdsville motorhome has been
totally wrapped in advertising decal and, just like Millie,
last years Weather Winnie, the motorhome will become part of
many peoples life as they look forward to the next story as
reported by Monte.
 Director
of Morning Television Adam Boland says Monte is back by
popular demand, his recent one-off appearance on Sunrise
proving a hit with viewers. "Monte's one of the legends of
brekky TV - so I'm thrilled he's made the switch. You'll see
him at his best, because travelling Australia is his first
love."
Monte recently travelled more
than 70,000 kilometres around Australia and wrote a book
about his adventures. “For me, Bush Postcards is a logical
extension of Red in the Centre, only this time instead of
containing all these great characters in a book we'll be
able to set them loose on your TV screens”
Sunrise will be launching the
promotion and presenting the Winnebago to the Sunrise
audience on Monday October 20 from the plaza at Martin Place
in Sydney. |
