NEW IDEA COMPETITION
The winner of the New Idea magazine promotion was a Mr Garry Menagh who resides with his wife at Camp Hill in Brisbane.
The promotion extended over four weekly editions of New Idea to 8 million readers overall and was promoted heavily on TV, the web and by the magazine.
Mr Menagh was one of 41189 entries into the competition (he only submitted one entry), a very pleasing result considering the task was to match two coupons together, write in 25 words or less why they wanted the motorhome and then forward the entry by mail to New Idea.
Garry and his wife are pensioners who have long dreamed of travelling in a caravan and are over the moon with the new Birdsville B2393 they have won. They are deserving winners who plan on using the motorhome for extended trips.
